Bridging knowledge gaps one tutoring session at a time.

Each one. Teach one. Let’s get to work.

Core Focus:

Inclusion

At LendMe, it is vital that we cover all different aspects of what our society views as a “college student”. We are not focusing solely on the student that is taking 12-15 credits a quarter/semester and walking to and from their respective college dorms/fraternity – LendMe is here for the students taking on multiple leadership roles in their respective clubs; for the students who have to go in for their day/evening shifts immediately after class—as well as the ones who just got off from the night before. Regardless of the student dynamics, LendMe will assist to cover them all.

Community

LendMe’s immediate focus is to not only bring together a community that carries the norm hustle & grind, while sharing the same passion every Saturday – but to also help build a network outside of one’s collegiate year without the worry and concern of job-hunting, career climbing, and missed opportunities. We understand that many students enter college not knowing what major to apply for, or even a career to pursue. We also understand that those passions don’t necessarily come to light until the 3rd or 4th year in—an area where most students tend to hit the panic button. As LendMe grows, we will focus more to solve these areas by offering internships, job-shadowing, and consultation opportunities within areas of each student’s interests. Our goal is to replace the valuable time a college student faces with a pipeline that leads to their goals through peer-tutoring, network building, and efficiency.

Fluid Interactions

Our main objective when building our platform is to make sure the peer-to-peer engagement our students experience is fluid. No hiccups, no gimmicks, just simply getting straight to the point. We’ve incorporated numerous features to better assist our students, while most importantly, prioritizing & mitigating their concerns – from payments to security to efficiency.

Bridge Education Gap

Our peer-to-peer engagement platform also influences the growth of information between first-year students to graduate students. The free flow of information creates a solid bridge between students, further closing the education gap and allowing for each student to become a resource for others. This ability also elevates LendMe’s purpose and impact in our communities. Our “Each one, Teach one”, which is slated to begin in Fall 2022, will stimulate numerous gaps in education in low-income neighborhoods, covering financial literally, trade-school, and software development.

Making education accessible

When we built LendMe, we aspired to have LendMe become accessible on all platforms. At an early stage, we could only accommodate the common platform used on college campuses. As we develop, we aim to establish LendMe on all available platforms – iOS, Android, & Desktop. In addition, LendMe’s effort to provide educational tools for communities in need will also be prevalent as LendMe succeeds. This includes up-to-date software, access to virtual learning, and engineering courses that cover the standards of living practices. Overall, LendMe will revolutionize our education system
